102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball presented by Capital One returned to the KIA Forum on Friday (December 2). Holiday spirit was in full swing thanks to a star-studded line-up, including acts like Dua Lipa, Jack Harlow, Pitbull, and more.

Jvke joined us in The Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge to talk about the track "Golden Hour", which was released in 2022 and the background for his artist name.

KIIS' Jojo first spoke with JVKE about his height with JVKE standing at six-foot-seven-inches in height. Afterwards, they spoke about the success of JVKE's song "Golden Hour".

Before the song blew up in popularity, JVKE recognized that it was his favorite song that he has ever written so far. He said the stars seemed to align for him and he's "so glad" that this is the song that so many people connected with.

"It was pretty much overnight, such a whirlwind," JVKE explained in his interview with Jojo.

JVKE also shared that they styled his artist name that way, because while he was on TikTok one of his songs started to blow up so they decided to invert the "A" in his name and flip it upside down.

As for Christmas plans? JVKE said that he will be spending time in his hometown in Rhode Island with his family. JVKE stated that he'll likely continue making more music during the holiday season as it's "therapeutic" for him.

For 2023, JVKE said his goals include making more music and hopefully spending time on tour, which was something that the COVID-19 pandemic prevented for the young artist.

"I'm really excited to get out there and tour some more," JVKE told Jojo.
